Rethinking happiness

Recently I was introduced to the concept of Stoicism, and I’m finding it fascinating. I’ve never given it much though before, dismissing it as something cold and emotionless, but I’m beginning to realise this is a complete misunderstanding, and I’ve actually been living with stoic principles for years!

Some of them – such as concepts of being aware of what is and isn’t in your control, and seeking fulfilment rather than happiness – have even supported me to move through anxiety and depression.
