Build an Instagram landing page in Divi

If you have an Instagram account for your business, you’re probably all too familiar with the quandry of what link to use in your bio.

It’s certainly one of my enduring frustrations that links placed into Instagram captions don’t currently work as clickable links (I can’t count the amount of times I’ve written “link in bio” now).

Apps such as Linktree have popped up specifically to offer tailored landing pages for your Instagram links, and they do the job brilliantly, but the lack of branding and flexibility over what information you are offering the visitor can be limiting – unless you choose to pay a monthly fee for the service.

Always on the lookout for finding my own solutions to such problems, I decided instead to just create my own, branded Instagram landing page on my website. it gives me the branded element I was looking for, and allows me to have a sign-up form straight on the Instagram link.

In the video below, I’ve recorded a tutorial showing how you can do the same on your own website. In the tutorial I use the Divi theme on WordPress, so your website will need to use the same, and you’ll need a bit of basic understanding for editing in the Divi builder.

I hope it’s useful!

A note: it’s worth checking out the features of something like Linktree before you go ahead and create your own page – it may be the features it offers is worth you paying for it.
