Creating a website for your small or solo business can feel like a mountain to climb, and I’m here to make it so much more easeful. I’ll gently guide you through the whole design process to make sure you end up with a values-led website that really showcases the true essence of you.
Your website will allow you to sell physical products, services, digital downloads, courses, and access to membership areas (now or in the future), and there’s absolutely no niggly tech updates or security to worry about. You’ll be able to edit and manage the website yourself once it is built, giving you full control to grow your website as your business evolves.

Starter package
A website up to 5 pages for when you’re just getting started.
In addition to your 5 custom pages, this package also includes a Privacy Policy page, a custom 404 error page and a thank you page, and you can add extra pages if needed. Your website will be fully mobile responsive, and will come with the functionality to expand and grow in future along with your business.
Grow package
A website up to 10 pages for a growing online business.
In addition to your 10 custom pages, this package includes a Privacy Policy page, a 404 error page and a thank you page, and you can add extra pages if needed. Your website will be fully mobile responsive, will integrate with bookings and payments systems, and can be customised to offer more advanced functionality such as an online shop or courses.
How it all works

Drop me a message or book a 10 minute chat for a no-obligation quote & to see if we’re a good fit. If you decide to go ahead, we’ll agree a date for the design, which will be at least a month in the future to give you plenty of time to create all your content.
Get Creating
Before I can start on the design you’ll need to create all the content for your website pages. We’ll start with a Zoom call to draw up a clear plan for your website, and I’ll send you guidebooks & a website content workbook to support you.
Design time
Once you’ve sent me all your content, the website build can begin. I’ll start by creating a branding page to make sure you’re happy with how the colours and fonts look on the website, then design the full website.
Feedback + revisions
When I’ve designed the website you can provide feedback to make whatever changes you want to the content or design. You’ll have unlimited revisions for 2 weeks, to make sure we get things just right.
Final handover
When your website is finished, I’ll transfer ownership of the website to you and give you a tutorial on how to edit your website. You get 6 weeks of extra email support after handover, in case any questions pop up.

Planning call
You can’t beat a good old chat sometimes. We’ll kick things off with a Zoom call to untangle any areas of confusion you have, and you’ll go away with a clear content plan.

You’ll get your very own client portal with in-depth guidance on creating your content, a brand personality questionnaire and a content workbook to fill in.

Mobile design
Your website will be fully mobile responsive, which means the design will adapt to work well and look great when it’s viewed from a mobile device. Essential these days!

I’ve been designing websites for over a decade
For the past 10 years I’ve been self-employed and designing websites for small and solo businesses, charities and creative wellbeing projects.
Going back even further, I have 17+ years experience in website management, communications and graphic design, so I’m incredibly comfortable and adept with small business digital systems, as well as designing for both print and web. I have extensive experience using Wordpress and coding with html and CSS, and when I switched over to Squarespace in early 2024, all those skills transferred with me.
I am a Squarespace Circle Partner, which means I can offer you special Squarespace features and discounts as my client!

A custom Squarespace website design with me starts from £2,750 for a 5-page site. Additional pages and more complex functionality can be added, so contact me for a more precise quote based on your requirements.
As well as my costs as a designer, you will also need to consider the following ongoing costs for your website:
Domain - usually between £10 - £20 a year.
Squarespace plan - generally £204 + VAT per annum, but it might be less or more than this depending on your requirements. You can view pricing plans here.
I can help you understand which pricing plan is right for you when we discuss your website needs.

As with any website, there are ongoing yearly costs which you will need to consider when getting a site designed with me. These include:
Domain hosting - usually between £10 - £20 a year
Squarespace plan - I recommend the Business plan for most clients, which costs £204 +VAT per annum. If you require advanced e-commerce or digital product functionality, I may recommend a higher plan or digital product add-on. I can discuss this with you during our initial call. You can view Squarespace plans here.
Domain hosted email (optional) - if you want to set up an email address which is associated with your domain (e.g. hello@yourdomain.com), I can help you do this. An email address hosted by Google Workspace costs around £70/year, or I can suggest alternative hosts for around £15/year.
Note that with Squarespace, you do not need to purchase additional website hosting. This is included as part of your Squarespace plan.
If there is advanced functionality you require on your website which requires a specific plugin not covered by a license I own, you may also need to pay the ongoing cost of the plugin. I will discuss this with you in detail before any purchase is made, so you are able to make an informed decision about whether to go ahead or not.

Very little. One of the best things about Squarespace is that you don’t have to worry about updating the system, themes, hosting or plugins, that is all handled for you by Squarespace. They also handle security, website speeds, and making sure that their payments systems are secure.
This means you can sit back and not have to worry about the tech side of things. You just need to focus on making sure your pages and content are up to date.

Every website is different, but most website designs are completed within 2 - 6 months of enquiry.
Once you have decided to go ahead with a website build, we will arrange a date for the design. You will have at least a month to create the content for your website, possibly longer if needed (and depending on my next availability).
Once you have sent me all your website content, the actual website build usually takes 5-6 weeks, following the following timeframe:
Week 1: Branding creation/setup
Weeks 2 - 3: Website build
Weeks 4 - 5: Feedback & unlimited amendments
Week 6: Design finalisation, testing & handover

Yes, you will need a domain to get a website designed with me.
If you don’t yet own a domain, I will advise you on where and how to purchase one.
If you already own a domain, I will use that. If you have an existing website associated with your domain, we will wait until website handover to connect your domain to your new website. I’ll carry out full URL mapping to ensure you experience as little SEO disruption as possible during the switch.
Note: if you own an existing domain with Squarespace, you may not receive the 20% first year discount.

Standard SEO means I will fill in the basic SEO markers across your website using the details you provide. I provide a guide for this in your website content workbook, and you can choose to provide this extra information or not.
With standard SEO I will:
Set up your overall website SEO details
Set up SEO titles, SEO descriptions and social images on every searchable page and post on your website
If you do not provide me with customised SEO information, I will use AI to populate your SEO details across your website, and then make custom tweaks to sense-check.
I am not an SEO expert, so if you required advanced support with SEO, I recommend you seek an expert.

Your website will have the functionality for you to add a shop, course or membership site at any time in the future.
You will absolutely be able to do this yourself if you wanted to, or you can hire me to set it up for you when you are ready.

Yes I can absolutely recommend copywriters and photographers to help you with your website content if needed.
If you choose to hire a copywriter and/or photographer to support you with your website content, we can plan the website design timings around your shoot/copy dates.

Yes absolutely. You can choose to either:
- Pay 50% of the cost upfront, and 50% upon website completion
OR
- Set up a payment plan to pay the cost in monthly instalments. This can be paid in anything from 3 to 12 months.

Yes absolutely. For international customers I can take payment via Square or Stripe. I will take payment in GBP however, so please be aware that you might incur a currency exchange fee from your bank.
